Loaded Trky Avocado BLT with Chili Crisp Mayo

There is nothing more satisfying than a stacked BLT, except when you add Trky and Avocado! Our protein packed and delicately seasoned Sliced Trky makes this fun take on a classic even better.

Servings: 1 large sandwich

PREP TIME: 20 mins

ALLERGENS: Soy, Wheat

EQUIPMENT: Pan to cook bacon and toast bread

INGREDIENTS: 

½ Package BE Hive Sliced Trky
4-6 Slices BE Hive Seitan Bacon
½ Avocado, sliced
3-4 Slices of Tomato
3-4 Leafs of Boston Lettuce or another delicious lettuce
Good Seedy Sliced Bread
Vegan butter to toast your Bread

Optional Sauces:

Chili Crisp Mayo:
2 T Chili Crisp
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp rice vinegar
½ c Vegan Mayo

OR Any savory Bitchin’ Sauce brand spread! 

Our favorites for this are Pesto or Bombay.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Prepare your Tomatoes by slicing them, letting them sit on a paper towel and seasoning them with salt and pepper. 

Next make your optional Chili Crisp mayo. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. 

BE Hive seitan bacon can either be cooked in the microwave for 60 seconds in a single layer on a microwave safe plate or can be fried up in a pan with a little oil. If using a pan, you will want to cook them no more than 60  seconds per side as they will continue to cook once pulled from the pan. 

Once you have your bacon cooked, throw a TB of vegan butter in the pan and toast your bread. 

Layer chili crisp mayo, lettuce, BE Hive Sliced Trky, your seasoned tomato, and BE Hive Seitan Bacon on your bottom bread. Next slice your avocado and place it on top of the bacon. Season with a little salt and pepper, more sauce and enjoy!
